SEND and Inclusion
At Saltaire Primary School, we are proud of our inclusive and nurturing approach. Our aim is to ensure that all children achieve their potential, personally, socially, emotionally and academically in all areas of the curriculum (regardless of their gender, ethnicity, social background, religion, sexual identity, physical ability or educational needs).
The Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) is Miss Kate Jacklin. She can be contacted on the school's phone number 01274 584093.
Miss Jacklin holds weekly telephone consultation sessions for parents who would like to discuss the educational needs of their child - this includes for any child currently on the SEN register or for parents who have concerns about a potential emerging SEND need.
Appointments can be made by contacting the main office.
Any complaints about the procedures that the school has regarding provision of SEND should be made to the Headteacher who will respond and report the outcome to the Governing Body.
