Welcome to the Friends of Saltaire Primary School (FOSPS) page. 'FOSPS' is a registered charity made up of parents, carers, staff and other people who organise fun events for families and children. Every exciting event organised by FOSPS raises funds that help to enhance the school learning experience.
FOSPS are always looking for new members to help with planning, organising or the delivery of different events in school. Why not come along to one of our meetings at school or even join us on one of our social evenings. The level of participation is entirely up to the individual, and should you want to join FOSPS you can do so in whichever way suits you best.
If you would like to find out anymore information or see what events we have coming up soon please don't hesitate to contact us on fospspta@gmail.com.
Thank you

Rainbow Run
Thursday 2nd May
The Rainbow Run was a roaring success! The children (and helpers) had an absolute blast and definitely reached the pot of gold. Your generous donations are still coming in, raising £2,436 on GoFundMe so far and around £200 in cash on the day. Thank you to the whole school community. Together, we smashed our target. The page will be live for the time being, so if you haven’t got round to it/asked all your family for a donation yet, there’s still time – see the QR code on their certificates.
Spooky Family Disco - Friday 8th November 6-8pm
Bag2school Collection
Tuesday 7th May until Thursday 9th May at 9am
Recycle, reuse and turn rags to riches! Last year, this fundraiser notched up around £150 without a penny changing hands. Find out more about the initiative and textiles accepted here. You should all have received a Bags2School bag now. Kindly stuff them full of unwanted clothes, curtains, bedding or any other clean and reusable textiles you can get your hands on (no uniforms please). Every little helps – and the heavier the better. Please drop bags off by the FOSPS labelled shed in the bottom of the playground, from Tuesday 7th May and no later than 9am on Thursday 9th May.
